Just had an emergency c section this week and realizing how all my clothes are going to be the exact opposite of what I need. What are y’all wearing that you find comfortable post c-section?

I’m sticking with pants that have a waistband which can be higher on my belly to avoid my incision. Admittedly, I had a low transverse C-section, so this may not work for you.

I purchased high waisted csection underwear and they are so comfortable. High waisted pants and lose fitting shirts are great as well.

High waisted loose fitting joggers are my go to! I really like these jogger sets on Amazon! Cute and comfy!

The first couple of weeks, I lived in nightgowns and dresses. The pain and burning above my incision couldn’t handle anything touching it. Now that I’m almost 4 weeks pp, I can wear things like exercise shorts and t-shirts comfortably. Still trying to figure out fall clothes as it’ll be getting cold soon.

I’m still wearing the mesh panties the hospital sent home with me. They don’t put any pressure on the incision and I’m dreading switching to normal undies. I’ve been wearing high waisted leggings and sweatpants or just a robe the majority of the time I’ve been home. When we go out it’s the leggings and a loose shirt to easily feed baby in.

I’m living in sweatpants/joggers. For looking more put together going out, dresses. Anything tight like leggings (high waisted) are not comfortable to me, but some people like the support.

I wore these the last month of pregnancy and now bring PP and having a c-section they've been great. I also live in thick sweats that are a size up from my norm.
